Privacy
Keiko League stores the minimum data needed to run the service.
What we store
- Account: email address and a password hash.
- Profile: alias, club, and optional country.
- Activity: rolls, QR sessions, achievements, and credit events.
Public visibility
By default, new accounts appear on the public leaderboard. Visitors may see your alias, club, country flag, rating, and roll count. You can turn this off anytime on your Profile. We do not show email addresses on public pages.
YouTube API Services
Bout video features use YouTube API Services. By using them you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
What YouTube data we access, store, and use
- OAuth tokens: refresh and access tokens used only to upload your clips to the league's channel.
- Video files: the clip you record or upload, held only until it has been uploaded.
- Video metadata: title, status, and related fields returned by YouTube about your upload.
- YouTube video IDs: the ID of each uploaded clip, used to link to or embed it.
Retention and purge
The local copy of a clip is purged after it uploads to YouTube. YouTube metadata and video IDs are kept and re-verified after 30 days; if the video is no longer available, the stored metadata is purged.
Deleting your clips and data
To delete a clip or ask us to delete your data, use the Help! page. Deleting the video itself is handled on the league's YouTube channel; we remove our stored metadata.
Revoking YouTube access
You can revoke Keiko League's access to your Google account at any time at Google security settings.
Adults only — no minors
Bout video features are for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect or publish videos of minors.
Data requests
To request access, export, or deletion, use the Help! page.
Operators follow the manual workflow in docs/data-requests.md.
